Auston Matthews 'It's none of your business' is Tired of Toronto Media
Mark Masters is a highly respected hockey reporter who primarily covers the Leafs, with occasional coverage of the World Juniors.
However, like all reporters, he sometimes asks generic questions that do not elicit responses. This occurred recently when he interviewed
Auston Matthews.
During a recent practice, Sheldon Keefe briefly spoke to Auston Matthews and
Mitch Marner.
Fans assumed that Keefe was trying to increase Auston Matthews' scoring chances by reuniting the pair.
However, some conversations between players and coaches must remain confidential, as Masters discovered on Wednesday.
Mark Masters asked Matthews what was discussed during the conversation. However, Matthews declined to answer, indicating that some discussions are private.
"Mark, that's none of your business, honestly. That's between us, I'll leave it at that."
We are all aware of what the Toronto media can do to a player, but it seems as if Matthews is handling it with smiles at best.
