The NHL All-Star weekend is officially open and fans can now be received as their favourite teams are set to return to action tomorrow on Monday, February 6th. The All-Star weekend was truly a snooze fest for many fans in attendance as well as at home, Gary Bettman's plan officially failed as seen in the photo below:
Some events were even trending throughout social media due to rule changes and the one that stuck out the most was the accuracy shooting competition. The accuracy shooting competition has always been about who has the best accuracy but this year it was about who can break the NHL's foam targets the fastest, rather than who is most accurate.
As he mentions it sure isn't the olympics, but the NHL still takes the All-Star game seriously. There was penalties called, coaches challenges were made and more, but the regulation for the accuracy shooting competition was cheated on McDavid's behalf.
