Trevor Zegras Takes Rare Playing With an Illegal Stick Penalty

The Anaheim Ducks were hosting the Dallas Stars last night when we would catch something you probably have never seen before.

Anaheim Ducks star Trevor Zegras would lose his stick when he was helping defend the Ducks lead. However, instead of trying to get his stick back he rips the stick out of the hands of Dallas Stars Joel Kiviranta.

Zegras would then try to use it like Kiviranta or the officials didn't notice. Unfortunately for Zegras, they did, and Zegras was given a penalty for playing with an illegal stick.

I've seen players grab others sticks but Zegras has to be the first to try to use another's stick before.
