The Most Embarrassing Puck Drop Ever
Finally underway, the World Juniors began with Switzerland defeating Finland in overtime, 3-2.
The focus in this tale is being drawn to the first puck drop, which is one of the most embarrassing call outs I have ever witnessed before a puck drop. Just listen to this:
The winger falling to the ground as a result of how long it took the referee to drop the puck makes it awkward, in my opinion.
But don't get me wrong, the referee's babble was also fairly horrible. The Austria center's comment to him while he was attempting to speak didn't help at all.
