The Edmonton Oilers Had a Night For The Record Books Yesterday
Last night was an incredibly important night in the NHL, as the Edmonton Oilers took down the Colorado Avalanche 2-1 in overtime. This victory was particularly significant for the Oilers, as it marked their franchise record-breaking 27th road win of the season.
The game was a nail-biter from start to finish, with both teams playing hard and giving it their all. Edmonton's Leon Draisaitl had another impressive performance, adding to his already impressive point total with his 125th point of the season. Meanwhile, Connor McDavid tied Phil Esposito's record of 152 points in a season.
