The Boston Bruins Head Coach Had Some Surprising Words to Say Regarding The Edmonton Oilers
The NHL is entering the stretch run of the season, and certain games are circled to be watched and are excited. Tonight's game with the Oilers meeting the Bruins on the road was one of those games. The Boston Bruins have had an amazing season and have compiled numbers that have been unheard of for years.
Facing such a vaunted team as the Bruins, the Oilers who have the best player on the planet in Connor McDavid alongside his teammates Leon Draisaitl and company, one would expect a truly fun game to watch.
It certainly did in the Oilers' favour. The Oilers won three to two and head coach of the Bruins Jim Montgomery weighed in his thoughts and gave a very honest and straightforward opinion about his team's performance.
It always feels good when your team can humble and beat the best in the league and tonight certainly felt good for the Oilers and gave them a test of character against the mighty Bruins.
