Stuart Skinner Makes Edmonton Oilers History and Passes a Legend
Stuart Skinner continues to make history for the Edmonton Oilers. In their final game of the regular season, Skinner made 27 saves and broke Grant Fuhr's rookie record by earning his 29th victory. Fuhr himself congratulated Skinner on the achievement.
Skinner has been on an impressive run, finishing the regular season with a 14-1-1 record in his last 16 starts. His performance has been a big part of the Oilers' success down the stretch, as they have won 9 straight games and gone 14-0-1 in their last 15 games.
Skinner's strong play bodes well for the Oilers as they head into the playoffs, and it's clear that he has already made a mark in the team's history books.
