Sidney Crosby willing to make huge sacrifice to play alongside McDavid
A former NHL great has said he would make a major sacrifice to share the same line with the NHL's current greatest player, Connor McDavid.
Apparently, Sidney Crosby doesn't mind playing on the same line with Connor McDavid as a winger.

This line is not only absolutely dynamite in international competition, but something most people can only dream of.
During his interview with Elliott Friedman on 32 Thoughts, Crosby expressed his willingness to change positions.
The players would look like they would be playing together at the Winter Olympics in 2026 if they played together on the same line.
Despite being 38 by the time the Olympics roll around, Crosby's resume is incredible, having captained Canada to gold in 2014 in Sochi, scored the golden goal in 2010 in Vancouver, and won numerous gold medals in various world junior tournaments.
Crosby said, «from my experience, it doesn't really get any better than that, when you're looking at the lineups and you're looking to players that are assembled.»
Since McDavid captained the team to gold at the 2018 World Championship, he would undoubtedly relish the chance to play with Crosby.
There is no doubt that this combination would have appeared in NHL '24 before international play, and Crosby's willingness to shift to his off-wing would not only give international play more parity but notoriety as well.
