Ryan Rishaug has reported that McLeod and the Oilers have agreed to a two-year contract worth over $2 million AAV, which aligns with previous projections for the promising center. It appears that the arbitration process has worked in favor of the rising Oiler.
This helps Holland in the long-term figure out how to piece together the rest of his lineup, as he has to sign Evan Bouchard next.
Last season, McLeod played 57 games for the Oilers and had 11-12 for 23 points. He is expected to continue to grow his game in the upcoming season without any doubt.
