Proposal for a major trade between the Edmonton Oilers and the Montreal Canadiens raised by TSN journalist Ryan Rishaug

In the case of interesting trade rumors involving our Montreal Canadiens, TSN reporter Ryan Rishaug tackled the case Joel Edmundson, along with Arpon Basu, and he raised an interesting proposal.
According to him, the Edmonton Oilers would be potentially interested in acquiring Edmundson, and that makes perfect sense. He's exactly the kind of player GM Ken Holland wants to acquire before the trade deadline.
Basu mentioned that Kent Hughes would be asking for a 2023 first-round pick, or a former first-round pick, and Rishaug brought up an interesting name: Xavier Bourgault. (a player who has previously been linked to the Habs)
He also talked about adding young Jesse Puljujarvi to make it work at the salary cap, and what's more, he says the Finn would be a great project for the invigorated CH development team. Martin St-Louis could possibly unlock his great potential.
