During a recent appearance on Les amateurs de sports on 98.5 FM, Roy confirmed that NHL teams were calling and interviewing him.
Roy, the GM, and Coach of the Quebec Remparts, quit shortly after the team won the Memorial Cup. In contrast, Roy mentioned that he's open to a new position during a golf tournament organized by Serge Savard.
After retiring from the NHL in 2003, Roy coached the Remparts in the QJMHL.
Roy would jump into the NHL to coach the Colorado Avalanche from 2013 to 2016.
By 2018-2019 he would return to the Remparts bench, where he remained until this past season.
Although he isn't set on a specific job, he wouldn't oppose it.
Roy's been linked to the Ottawa Senators, but no traction has been made.
