Now that the wait is over and newly signed Detroit Red Wing Patrick Kane prepares for his debut next week with the team, he joined the Bally Sports announcers while the Red Wings played against the Montreal Canadiens.

During his visit, Kane along with the announcers witnessed his fellow teammate Alex Debrincat score his 200th goal on the powerplay.
After a nice feed from the point for Moritz Seider, Debrincat slapped the one timer past Habs goalie Jake Allen which led to an eruption from the announcers and Kane. Kane reiterated that Debrincat would never miss those too often.
Kane and Debrincat were teammates on the Blackhawks for five seasons and was one of the deciding factors on why Kane decided to join the Red Wings. Debrincat is playing exceptionally well and has played 23 games, scored thirteen goals with 10 assists for 23 points and is a + 8.
After spending one season with the Ottawa Senators, Debrincat notfied the Sens that he did not want to sign long term. He was then traded to the Red Wings and signed a four year $31.5 million contract.
The Red Wings went on to beat the Canadiens 5-4 in Overtime.
