As we all know Zach Hyman, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl are all having amazing seasons up until this point. Everyone knows that McDavid currently leads the league in scoring (92) and right behind him is Draisaitl (76), but during last night's game against the Chicago Blackhawks 2 more Oilers hit the 60-point mark in being Zach Hyman and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins. Hyman and Nugent-Hopkins are both currently tied for 11th place in scoring with Sidney Crosby and the Oilers have four players out of the top 13 league leading scorers.
Both Hyman and Nugent-Hopkins are having career years. Nuge is currently 9 points away from tying his career high in points (69) which he set back in 2018-19 with the Oilers, while Hyman already beat his previous career high (54), which he set in 2021-22 with the Oilers.
Hyman set a new career high in assists this year with 34, his previous high was 27, and he is only one goal shy of tying his career high in goals which was 27 as well. Nugent-Hopkins is also on pace to beat his career high in goals (28) which he set back in 2018-19, he only needs five to tie it, and is also only three assists shy of tying his previous career high (41) which he also set back in 2018-19.
