The Edmonton Oilers recently called up 6-foot-7 defensemen Vincent Desharnais, and since, he has made quite the good impression. The 26-year old Canadian born forward had tallied up 3 assists throughout his past six games with the Oilers and has not shied away from showing his aggressiveness to his opponents when needed.

What many Oilers fans don't know is Desharnais endured a terrible injury in his 3rd NHL game ever which came this season just a few weeks back, he broke his nose in his first shift against the Vegas Golden Knights on January 14th, completely broke it. Since breaking his nose he has not let that slow it down, and didn't even miss time, without a little tune up..

They decided to snap his nose back into place, and he played the entire period before they did so in the first intermission.

They reset it in the first intermission. Took three cracks. Then one more after the game. It didn't feel great (laughs).

As if fans couldn't love this guy more!
