About a week after making the remarks, Edwards apologized, but it was likely only as a result of the widely shared fan video in which he spoke those unkind things, which lead to other players expressing their displeasure.
The Bruins and Lightning will play each other for the first time since the incident tonight, so Jack Edwards used the opportunity to apologize to Patrick Maroon in the locker room of the Tampa Bay Lightning. But it didn't seem like everything went as Edwards had intended.
