Among the remaining UFAs are many former Edmonton Oilers, including familiar names like Alex Chiasson. In the 2018-2019 season, Chiasson was one of the Oilers' top-scoring forwards, with 22 goals to his name.

Other notable UFAs include Sam Gagner, who is known for his impressive shootout skills, and Derick Brassard, who had a solid season with the Ottawa Senators last year. Unfortunately, the salary cap crunch is making it difficult for teams to sign and retain quality depth players.
