The Oilers organization has shown its generosity in caring when it came to the late Ben Stelter.
Oilers forward Evander Kane has formed a bond with a young fan over the past year by the name of Cecily Eklund. She is currently battling brain cancer and they showed great bravery while facing this terrible disease.
Recently, Kane stopped by the hospital where Ecklund was to visit her and spend some time with her while she prepared to go for a scan.
Kane had stopped by her birthday party earlier this year and spent the entire day bowling, making paintings and making her birthday special.
Cecily herself has been doing amazing kindness to help promote the Ben Stelter fund since his passing she has befriended his sisters and helped raise $65,000 towards the fund.
