Darnell nurse calls out the refs after his suspension
Last night's Game 4 between the Vegas Golden Knights and Edmonton Oilers resulted in Edmonton Oilers' win, tying the series 2 games a piece per team.
During the game, Nic Hague instigated a fight with Nurse, leading to Nurse dropping his gloves in response.
However, the referees handed Nurse an instigator penalty, which seemed unfair according to Nurse, who claimed that the fight was not mutually agreed upon.
Despite Hague starting the altercation, Nurse and Jay Woodcroft received penalties for being instigators. It's surprising that Hague did not receive any penalties under Rule 46.21 for starting the fight.
The zebras are at it once again in the game management territory.
Update: According to Mark Stone the story was that Nic Hague did indeed ask for the fight. If that is the case, Nurse shouldn't be suspended or have received an instigator penalty.
