It was a scary moment Monday night when Calgary Flames defenceman Chris Tanev would leave the game after being injured blocking a snapshot from Montreal Canadiens captain Nick Suzuki, hitting him in the neck and ear area.
The Calgary Flames would share the latest on Tanev
"Following a visit to the hospital, all tests have shown negative and he has been cleared to travel with the team back to Calgary,» reported the team, via twitter, after the game. He will be reevaluated tomorrow."
This is definitely good news as we've seen some players be out long periods of time and have major concussion symptoms after. Thankfully it appears Tanev could be back in the lineup fairly soon to the delight of Flames fans.
