BREAKING: Bettman is About to Change The Oilers Schedule to Make More Money and Fans Are Furious
Sportsnet reporter Mark Spector dropped some interesting news this morning that has left a sour taste in the mouths of Edmonton Oilers fans. Spector reported that there is a possibility that Game 2 of the Oilers-Vegas Golden Knights series could be moved to Saturday in Vegas instead of Edmonton. While not yet confirmed, it appears that discussions are underway and the change is close to being finalized.
The Golden Knights are reportedly not thrilled about the proposed schedule change. Many fans believe that the NHL is making the change to have Toronto and Edmonton both playing on Saturday night for Hockey Night in Canada, but there is no official reasoning for the potential shift.
Unfortunately for Oilers fans, some have already purchased tickets for Game 2 in Edmonton, and those tickets will be unusably useless if the game is moved to Vegas on Saturday. It remains to be seen how this situation will play out, but one thing is for sure: Oilers fans aren't too happy about it.
