Another anthem singer botches Oh Canada
For the second time this week across the NHL, an anthem singer botched the singing of Oh Canada. The clip was caught before the Calgary Flames visited the St. Louis Blues.
The singer missed complete lines, and disrupted the entire flow of the anthem, causing a jarring reaction from many in the audience. Have a listen below.
It's strange that the Canadian anthem could be botched twice across sports in such a short time, and it seems to be happening more commonly. However, it's not a surprise many anthem singers clearly don't practice Oh Canada as much as they do the Star Spangled Banner.
With all that said, it's an embarrassing moment enough for the anthem singer, and he'll undoubtedly learn from this mistake the next time he performs.
