A Leon Draisaitl video is going viral after heartwarming moment caught on film
Leon Draisaitl was unfairly maligned last season, after having an exchange with a reporter that made him infamous. Admittedly he's not a loud guy off the ice, but his play does the talking for him.
But in all the controversy they never take into account, that Leon is a warm and welcoming guy.
During practice, you can see Draisaitl wave to a fan's baby whose bound to grow up and bleed orange and blue, like their parents. You can tell they're diehards, showing up during practice, and traveling to Boston.
This moment isn't only adorable but shows that Draisaitl isn't what a lot of media characterizes players to be-short, pissy, or otherwise.
The Edmonton Oilers will take on the Boston Bruins tomorrow, the NHL's number one team, and Leon will look to continue their push for the post-season in TD Garden.
