These four Oilers are being paid way too much money.

1 - Jack Campbell 6% of the cap room: Jack Campbell was a stupid move since the start. The Oilers signed him to a 5 year, $25 million contract ($5 million AAV). That's ridiculous, and it showed this season when Stuart Skinner started more games than him in the playoffs this year. The 31-year-old goaltender had a 3.41 GAA and a .888 SV%, not a good way to start in Edmonton. We could possibly see Skinner getting more reps in net than Campbell this season.
2 - Cody Ceci
3.9% of the cap room: He was great the year they offered him the contract, with 28 points and a +8. This year, Ceci had only 1 goal and 14 assists, tallying up to 15 points in 80 games and having a +11, which is actually an improvement from last year. However, he wasn't worth the $3.25 million Holland gave him this year. There is some hope for a bounce back, but at 29 years old and a massive drop off, it's doubtful.
3 - Darnell Nurse
11.1% of the cap room: Darnell Nurse isn't a bad defenseman. It's just he's paid a little too much, at $9,250,000. Darnell is ahead of Alex Pietrangelo, Victor Hedman, Roman Josi and Cale Makar. He is also the 7th highest paid defenseman, meanwhile he isn't even in the top 10. His deal also lasts seven more years at 28 years old, handcuffing the Oilers.
4 - Warren Foegle
3.3% of the cap room. Warren Foegle is 27 years old and arrived in a trade for Ethan Bear. When he came Oiler fans had high expectations for him, but so far, the forward hasn't lived up to them. Last season, Warren had 13 goals and 15 assists, tallying up to 28 points in 67 games.
