Rick Tocchet scratches four veteran ahead of the season's last game

Brock Boeser won't travel with the Vancouver Canucks for their final regular season game against the Jets, as the forward is being given a couple extra days rest ahead of the playoffs.

Irfan Gaffar reported that Boeser has been "dealing with something," an injury not severe enough to keep him out of the lineup, and the team is giving him the night off.

The Thursday night battle between the Jets and Canucks will have no bearing on the standings.

It was also announced that J.T. Miller, Filip Hronek, and Ian Cole would be sitting the Winnipeg game. This comes at a weird timing for Miller since he's currently sitting on career regular season game 799. The game against the Jets would be his 800th.
