The Canucks have had their share of up and downs through the season with a variety of trades and injuries. As we head to the playoffs, the team is expected to have their A lineup in full shape.

On Saturday, the Nucks were in Edmonton, where they shut down one of the league's hottest teams since the All-Star Break. They came out with a 3-1 win and completed the season sweep, an event that had only happened once in franchise history prior to this season.

#Canucks sweep the season series vs the Oilers for the 2nd time in franchise history (Also occurred in 2014-15)

Both the Canucks and the Oilers have clinched their playoffs spot. They'll be occupying the Pacific Division's top ranks and won't be meeting before the second round of the playoffs.

The Oilers have failed to beat the Canucks every time they met this season, even with their starting netminder on the sidelines. If they were to meet, with Demko between the pipes and Tocchet's defensive solid structure.
