From what I have heard - Eric Tulsky, Jason Karmanos both really smart Analytics type GM. The two were on potential hirings for Calgary and Pittsburgh

There has also been inquiries into Kate Madigan from the Devils as well as former Oilers Captain Shawn Horcoff who is currently the assistant GM for the Red Wings.

As well, they also reached out New Jersey Devils about Kate Madigan. Former Edmonton Oiler Shawn Horcoff as well.

Sean Horcoff is certainly a name that will pop for Oilers fans. Horcoff was drafted by the Oilers in the fourth round of 1998, and played twelve seasons with the team, serving as the Captain as well. Horcoff was named Director of Player Development for the Red Wings in 2016, then promoted to Assistant General Manager in 2022, studying under Steve Yzerman.
