The Edmonton Oilers touched down today in Fort Lauderdale on their way to take on the Florida Panthers, and Connor McDavid was spotted on the airplane continuing his superstitions.

McDavid was spotted in the same suit that he's been wearing since the middle of the Dallas Stars series. In the past, McDavid has noted that he's incredibly superstitious about things, and it's clearly extending to his clothing choices when going on the plane and to games.

In the latter half of the Stars series, McDavid joined the NHL on TNT panel where Paul Bissonette teased McDavid asking him if he's still wearing the same socks and underwear too. McDavid didn't confirm a superstition, only joking that he'll let the media speculate.

If the suit and any other superstition is working for McDavid, absolutely every Oilers fan should be supporting that superstition. McDavid hasn't been single handedly carrying the Oilers this playoffs - it's been the most complete team effort in recent years - but he's still the best player in all of hockey, and can take over a series when he's feeling his best. Hopefully on the biggest stage possible, McDavid can continue to elevate his game.
