Analyst reveals price for Edmonton Oilers to acquire forward Ryan Donato

The Edmonton Oilers have been linked to trading for Chicago Blackhawks forward Ryan Donato, who could be a solid roster fit and cost the team very little to acquire in trade - only a mid round draft pick.
Trade rumors have been on going around the Chicago Blackhawks this season as Donato has become one of the most highly discussed players due to his low cap hit and his career season.
Debrusk feels Donato would be a nice fit for the Oilers

Despite the Blackhawks woes, Donato has had an incredible year as the 28-year-old center has played 53 games, scored nineteen goals with 18 assists for 37 points and is a - 3.
He was drafted by the Boston Bruins in 2014, second round 56th overall and has had stops with the Bruins, Minnesota Wild, Sharks, Kraken and the Blackhawks.
Oilers may need to consider smaller moves this trade deadline
Many questions surround the Edmonton Oilers regarding the NHL trade deadline as there's uncertainty around how much money they will be able to have to spend on players.
Frank Seravalli of the Daily Faceoff even suggested yesterday that trade deadline plans may be halted if Evander Kane may come back.
Could Ryan Donato be a perfect fit for the Oilers at the deadline?
It seems the cost to acquire Donato would be a 2nd or 3rd round pick at most, judging by former trades for similar forwards like Max Domi, Nino Niederreiter, and Anthony Duclair.
It remains to be seen on how general manager Stan Bowman will handle the deadline, but the Oilers will be looking at all options to try to bolster their team and to go on another long run like last season.
