Oilers' stars passing famed franchise records

It's clear that the Oilers organization has put their November behind them and continues to dominate as they faced off against the Hughes brothers and the New Jersey Devils.

In a much-anticipated game where several superstars faced off against one another, the Oilers did not disappoint the home crowd when they took the game 4-1.

Several Oilers players were effective as Evan Bouchard managed to score his eighth goal of the season and place him in 3rd place overall in offensive defenseman with 28 points.




The bigger take away through this game was the play of Ryan Nugent Hopkins. He has been re surging recently along with the rest of the team and after assisting in his 254th career power play point that placed him 5th most in the franchise passing Jari Kurri.

Nuge, is one of the most economical players in the league as he holds an eight-year $41 million deal which is $5.125 million in cap space. He is currently almost a point a game or he has played 25 games, have scored five goals with 19 assists for 24 points and is a + 5.

The Oilers continue their homestand when Connor Bedard and the Chicago Blackhawks come to town. Game time will be on Tuesday December 12th at 10:00 PM eastern
