The journey that has been Connor McDavid's career has been one for the ages. Once touted as the future face of the NHL before he was 15 years old certainly has not disappointed.
After having his best career year last year of 153 points, it's been pointed out recently that he could reach an incredible milestone by the end of this season.
The thought that he could hit 1000 points in under a 10-year span is absolutely mind blowing. After a slow start to this season, his pace has picked up dramatically and in 23 games he has scored ten goals, have 26 assists for 36 points.
His career numbers are absolutely off the charts as he's played 592 games, scored 313 goals with 573 assists for 886 points and as a + 116.
If his torrid pace continues, it's plausible that he could reach or surpass the 1000 point mark this season.
It's truly a treat to watch this spectacular athlete.
