Edmonton Oilers President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Ken Holland said Wednesday that he intended to honour the final year of his contract and remain in the role for the upcomig season.

Ken Holland, knows it may be his last year meaning there might not be any big moves, coming for the Oilers. As Ken Holland, doesn't intend or want to go all in on things because he knows his days are numbered.

Holland, at 67, is entering the fifth and final year of his contract. Joining the Oilers before the 2019-20 season.

The Oilers have made the playoffs in all four seasons under Holland. This season, Edmonton carried a 50-23-9 record and finished second in the Western Conference with 109 points. Yet, the Oilers season ended in the second round and now the General Manager looks to have one more run in the team.

With it being Holland's last year, the Oilers are already looking for another possible options to the role.
