In a move that has left Edmonton Oilers fans fuming, the NHL has changed the playoff schedule for the Oilers vs Vegas Golden Knights round 2 series, just one night before Game 1 begins. The revised schedule sees Game 2 moved to Saturday, which has caused major headaches for Oilers fans who had already made travel plans for the original schedule of Wednesday and Friday.

Kevin North, one of the fans affected by the change, had to fork out an extra $1,200 to $1,400 to change his flight and hotel bookings to accommodate the new schedule. He expressed his frustration, saying, "It's costing a fair penny now...It was very frustrating."

To add insult to injury, a concert scheduled for May 10 at Rogers Place has also been moved to May 11, further complicating plans for fans who had already made arrangements around the original schedule.

While the NHL hasn't provided a reason for the last-minute change, it's clear that many fans are left feeling shortchanged and out of pocket due to the lack of communication and consideration.
