In the modern world of social media, one thing is clear you need to be careful with what you say because the world is watching all the time. This happened to ESPN commentator John Anderson of SportsCenter when his attempt to make a joke about Vegas Golden Knights defenseman Zach Whitecloud's last name went wrong.

Once the story broke about the comment, it spread across the Internet like wildfire with scathing tweets coming out of the woodwork. It's mentioned that Whitecloud did have a conversation with the beleaguered broadcaster and Anderson did apologize for his remarks.

Whitecloud was hurt by this comment, as he is part of the Sioux Valley Dakota Nation which is just west of Brandon Manitoba. It's clear that Whitecloud wanted this to go away as fast as possible but by the same token wanted to express his displeasure with the remark and that people need to watch what they say while moving forward.

The Oilers will be switching the series back to Edmonton. Game Four will be on May 10th. Game time will be at 10:00 PM Eastern.
