So far in this series, the Oilers and the Golden Knights have shown the NHL in their fans their dislike for one another, that's putting it mildly. Time and time again both teams have shown loads of physicality and some downright nastiness against one another as the series continues to tighten and both teams want to win.
However, some moves are downright dirty and brutal which goes without saying when Golden Knights forward Shay Theodore decided to spear Klim Kostin right in the wedding tackle.
I feel that kind of play is so dirty and completely unnecessary to any player and it will be curious to see if the NHL player and safety will look at this and give Theodore more than just a fine.
What's interesting to note is that a similar play happened between the Philadelphia Flyers and the Tampa Bay Lightning earlier this year where the Flyers' defenseman Tony DeAngelo decided to spear Corey Perry right in the same spot.
DeAngelo received two games for this and should warrant at least one for Theodore's actions.
