The Edmonton Oilers fell short in their game against the Vegas Golden Knights despite their best efforts.

However, former player John Scott singled out certain players for not contributing enough to the team's success.

While his criticism of Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Kailer Yamamoto may have some merit, it was unkind to call out a team that was already struggling with injuries.

It's worth noting that Evander Kane and Zach Hyman were both dealing with undisclosed injuries during the playoffs, which is not uncommon for teams to keep private.
