Ryan Whitney tells the truth about the Edmonton Oilers on Spittin' Chiclets

On the latest episode of Spittin Chiclets' the Edmonton Oilers were a hot topic, especially from former Oiler Ryan Whitney. Earlier in this season, Whitney denounced his fandom from the Oilers when the were struggling, but is still clearly a fan of the team and is following every game. Today, Whitney went off in his assessment of the team, and clearly thinks they're the clear favourites for the Stanley Cup.

Whitney has obvious praise for the stars in McDavid and Draisaitl, but also specifically mentioned Ryan McLeod as being a big breakout player that's helping the Oilers win games on this incredible streak.


With the recent signing of Corey Perry being another shot in the arm to the team already on an incredible winning streak, Whitney and many others are now believing the Oilers are on the perfect projection towards winning the Stanley Cup this season.
