Oilers insider reveals startling full details on Jack Roslovic's injury and surgery
The Edmonton Oilers have been missing Jack Roslovic for a few weeks, as he's been recovering from surgery in the family jewels.
Roslovic last played on November 25th against the Dallas Stars, and went down after blocking a shot. It wasn't exactly seen by fans, but Roslovic took the shot right in the jock - and things got bad over the next few days.
Jack Roslovic had surgery after shot block vs. Dallas Stars
According to a new report from Oilers insider Jason Gregor, Roslovic couldn't walk in the following days since taking the puck to the groin, and he eventually needed to have surgery to fix the issue.
Dude, he had surgery on his nuts. Roslovic's can didn't save him.
He told me he could not walk for like, almost 4 days. He was in so much pain.
I know guys in hockey who have lost a nut before. I didn't ask him that in depth, all I know is that there was some surgery required to fix it. But he says everything's on pace time-wise, he was hoping maybe he'd get into the Vegas or the Calgary game before Christmas.

To hear the actual extent of this injury is shocking, and unbelievable that Roslovic would be able to recover so quickly from surgery to get back in the lineup within 1 month. Any guy is just wincing at the thought. It's just another example of the extreme toughness from NHL players.
And the Edmonton Oilers will be hoping to get Roslovic back as soon as he possibly can. Since joining the Oilers late this season, he's been offensively their third best forward.
With 18 points in 23 games, Roslovic looks like one of the best forward additions the Oilers have made in years - all at a cap hit of $1.5M. He's been a phenomenal fit this season, and is needed back in the lineup for the Oilers to be at their best.
If the Oilers can keep up their recent streak of good play and add Roslovic back soon, they may finally be able to hit their stride and start moving up the standings.
