The Los Angeles Kings were eliminated by the Oilers for the fourth year in a row, but insiders have confirmed no major changes will come to their organization.
Kings coach Jim Hiller was particularly under fire for his bold comments that they should've won the series over Edmonton, and many other questionable moves this series.
Kings confirm that both Coach Jim Hiller and GM Rob Blake will return
Los Angeles insiders at the Mayor NHL are reporting that both figureheads will return next year despite significant frustration from the fan base.
From everything we've been able to gather over the past 24 hours, it appears Blake and Hiller will remain in place for the 2025-26 season.

Kings fans are currently furious with several decisions from Jim Hiller that didn't help their chances of winning games.
Hiller made a bad challenge, failed to adapt to the Oilers changes, and heavily shortened his bench to put tons of stress on top players. When asked if he had any regrets, Hiller emphatically said no.
In fairness to Hiller, it's only his second playoffs behind the Kings bench and they did have a quality season. That's why much of the blame is being shifted toward the roster building of GM Rob Blake.
Fans are understandably going crazy over 4 straight playoff losses to the same team, and looking at the GM to be more competitive.
By benching the bottom of their lineup, the Kings showed they weren't deep enough anyway for a long run. However, they may just be victims of McDavid and Draisaitl - that any team would have lost to.
