Darnell Nurse responds to reports of potential trade off Oilers on social media
The Edmonton Oilers have reportedly asked Darnell Nurse to waive his no-trade clause, and now the Oilers defenceman has responded on social media.
Reports surfaced from Elliotte Friedman that the Oilers asked Nurse and Adam Henrique to waive their no-move clauses, and both players declined.
I think basically Edmonton went to a check with all their guys who had no trade clauses, who they would want to move and say, okay, how many of you are willing to go places?

Darnell Nurse responded to Elliotte Friedman report of refusing to waive no-move clauses
The Oilers defenceman must have seen social media on fire talking about his no-trade clause, and took to social media to respond.
Nurse posted just a still picture from a meme-type music video called «Why You Always Lyin».
It's a light hearted response from Nurse to respond with an old internet meme, but it also shows that he is antagonized by the reports out there.
Nurse may be calling the reports an outright lie, but when the information is coming from top NHL insiders - it looks like the Oilers defender is just upset about the reports.
Oilers fans have long had complaints about Nurse's $9.25M contract and his disappointing play through the duration of the contract. Moving out his salary could help the team address other areas, and Nurse may be the team's third best left shot defenceman behind Ekholm and Walman.
It's not a good sign that Nurse is looking antagonized by the reports on his no-trade. There could be some friction brewing in Edmonton.
