The Edmonton Oilers lost a key game last night to the Los Angeles Kings and are still currently out of a playoff spot. After so much promise last season the Oilers General Manager Ken Holland is looking to shake things up with a potential block buster trade...
If Holland could make this deal it'll be a home run. According to Hockey 24/7 and many other sources the Oilers Gm has his eyes on acquiring Jonathan forward Drouin and defenceman Joel Edmundson from the Montreal Canadiens.
A deal is close between Edmonton and Montreal. The deal would be Drouin and Edmundson to Edmonton and yes Edmundson would be playing in Edmonton. #oilers #GoHabsGo #edmundsoninedmonton
This would be a huge deal for the Oilers Joel Edmunson is one of the best shut down defenceman in the League and Jonathan Drouin all though he's struggled is a very good play maker that a change of scenery might do him good.
