The Pittsburgh Penguins were beaten by the Carolina Hurricanes 2-1 in yesterday's game. The Penguins' lone goal, which gave them some hope in the third period, came seven minutes in and is probably the last of its sort you won't see again for a very long time.
At the seven-minute mark, forward Jake Guentzel dumped in the puck into the Hurricanes' zone in the direction of their goalie. Another Penguin, Rickard Rakell, then pursued to chase. You'll have to see what happened next to realize what I mean:
