The Edmonton Oilers have made a move by signing forward Adam Erne to a professional tryout agreement (PTO). Erne, standing at 6-foot-1 and weighing 212 lbs, brings his experience to the team.

Erne comes to Edmonton after spending the last four seasons with the Detroit Red Wings, where he played in 241 games. During his time in Detroit, he contributed 27 goals and 35 assists, totaling 62 points, and added 109 penalty minutes to his resume.
His NHL journey began as the Tampa Bay Lightning's second-round pick (33rd overall) in the 2013 NHL Draft. Erne also played 114 games for the Lightning over three seasons, registering 13 goals and 14 assists.
Over his seven NHL seasons, the 28-year-old has maintained an average ice time per game of 12:21. He's collected a total of 40 goals and 49 assists during his career and has three games of playoff experience in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Erne's addition to the Edmonton Oilers brings depth and experience to the team's lineup as they prepare for the upcoming season.
