Oilers coach making questionable decision with new forward in lineup vs Penguins

The Edmonton Oilers have promoted their high-flying prospect Quinn Hutson in an effort to boost the team's bottom-six production.
For coach Knoblauch, the move itself is a good one and well over-due, given how well the Boston University grad has been playing, and for the lack of offense from the Oilers' bottom-six forwards.
Prospect projected to debut on team's 4th line
Except, fans and analysts alike believe it's a bad idea; that the fourth-line, for a player of Hutson's abilities, won't give him the best opportunity to do what he does best.
There are many reason why the bottom-six is not an ideal role for the 23-year old, not the least of which is playing alongside Lazar and Frederic, who are not known for their offensive flair.
Kris Knoblauch has lamented repeatedly about his team's lack of production from it's bottom six. Yet, he is not putting his talent in a position to succeed, and is now repeating this with Hutson.
In his 24 games with Bakersfield this season, Hutson has played entirely in a 1st-line role, getting top minutes and driving the offense.
He leads the Condors with 16G and 28 points in 24 games played, and is a top candidate for the AHL rookie of the year award.
On the 4th-line with Edmonton, Quinn will be hard pressed to get more than 7:00 of TOI in a defensive role. He may not get too may chances to score goals and contribute his offense. This could shake his confidence.
But then again, he may surprise us all, as he has done in the AHL time and again.
