Edmonton Oilers insiders expect new forward Jack Roslovic to play in their next game against the New York Rangers on October 14th.
The Oilers announced the late surprise signing of Roslovic during the first game of the season, and the forward quickly joined the team for practices and pre-game skates since October 9th. Now, the Oilers will see what he's got.
Oilers signing Jack Roslovic expected to enter lineup in next game vs Rangers
According to a new report from Kurt Leavins in the Edmonton Journal, Roslovic is expected to play the Oilers' next game against the New York Rangers.
By the time the Oilers are playing the Rangers next week, I expect Jack Roslovic is in the Oilers lineup.

It's still unknown where exactly Roslovic will enter the Oilers lineup, but he has previously been practicing in a top-six jersey at practice.
The Oilers are likely set on the current first line combination including Trent Frederic with McDavid and Draisaitl, so it's most likely that Roslovic would slot into the second line.
Judging by the Oilers current lineup, the most likely player to drop into the third line would be Matthew Savoie, and Roslovic would take the second line wing.
Roslovic scored 22 goals last season with the Carolina Hurricanes, with the vast majority coming at even strength.
Adding a player of this calibre to such a bargain contract is a great move for the Oilers, and makes their forward group even more dangerous. Credit to the front office for a quality signing here with Roslovic.
