Evander Kane makes a major personal announcement with Oilers

The second round for the Edmonton Oilers is about to begin and Oilers star forward Evander Kane made a major announcement prior to its start.
Kane's clohting brand Defy drop a new line of merchandise in collaboration with the Oilers which includes three new Edmonton Oilers themed hoodies.
New Merchandise part of Kane's work while recovering from surgery
Kane found himself with plenty of time over the course of this hockey season as he remained out of the lineup due to several surgeries he had undergone which included abdominal surgery and knee surgery.
As the season drew to a close, rumors and news began to ramp up of his return when round one of the playoffs was set to begin.
Some pundits around the league thought that the Oilers would attempt to trade Kane at the NHL trade deadline in order to get out from under his contract which has one year remaining at $5.125 million per season.
This non trade worked out well as Kane has returned to the lineup and has been very effective especially with his physicality towards his opponents.
Oilers now selling new merch as playoffs continue
This new merch line includes three new Oilers-themed hoodies that are now available at the Oilers team store, Ice District Authentics, both in-person and online. The hoodies all share a similar design with the Oilers logo featured on the right shoulder and Kane's Defy logo being featured on the chest and back.

Kane hopes his new found health along with his new additions to his clothing line can propel himself for a deep playoff run as he has a renewed enjoyment for hockey and looks to take on the Golden Knights as game one is set to begin tonight at 9:30 PM eastern.
