Moments ago, the Edmonton Oilers were robbed of a goal after Vegas Golden Knights Adin Hill caused a controversial non call.

During the play, Perry was coming around the backside of the net to do a wrap around goal when Hill push the net off of its moorings which prevented a goal from being scored and the Golden Knights did not receive a penalty for delay of game.

Fans take to social media to express their anger over non call

Shortly after the play, many fans took to the ex platform to express their anger and disgust over the lack of the non call.
Many felt that there should be a delay of game penalty as Hill was the only player around the net that had contact and it was clear in the video review that he pushed his own net off the moorings to help prevent a goal from being scored.
Even Oilers reporters including Dave Staples of the Edmonton Journal weighed in on the incident stating that the rules don't apply and they constantly change for the Golden Knights which has led them to being the least penalized team in the league.
The Oilers had gone down 2-0 early in the game and are trying to get back to a tied game as they currently trail 2-1 through the second period.
It wasn't just this call either. Numerous times through the night Vegas seemed to get the right side of the ref for a call, while the Oilers were left hanging.

Oilers in for a long series with Golden Knights

It's become clear that this will be a very long series for both teams have the Oilers and the Golden Knights are talented and have much playoff experience.
Despite having one of the biggest and toughest defences in the NHL, the Oilers can overcome with their physicality and their goal scores as the team holds two of the best players in the world.
Game 2 will take place on May 8th has the Golden Knights continue to hold the home ice advantage and game time will be at 9:30 PM eastern.
