The Edmonton Oilers Are Going to Have to Make a Big Decision Tomorrow

The Oilers will be concluding their road trip tonight when they play against the Vegas Golden Knights. The organization will have to choose which defencemen they will send back down to the Condors.

Currently, they are carrying eight defensemen and two players in question will be newly called up Vincent Desharnais and Markus Niemelanien. Desharnais had a particularly strong debut and certainly made the case for his services to remain but the parent club.

He has one assist, is a plus one, and has averaged roughly 15 minutes of ice time.

The Oilers won their game quite convincingly against the San Jose Sharks with a score of 7-1. They put 41 shots against the sharks, and McDavid, Draisaitl, and RNH I'll have three points each.

The team will be tough tonight, as they are meeting one of the powerhouses of the NHL in the Vegas Golden Knights. Game time will be 10:00 PM Eastern.
