The Oilers have announced today that they will be loaning Calvin Pickard back to the Bakersfield Condors, which means Stuart Skinner will be returning to the lineup.

With the Edmonton Oilers on a roll and the possible return of Evander Kane into the lineup shortly, adding Skinner will bolster their lineup and continue to charge their playoff run. It also means that Skinner's wife Chloe has had their baby.

Having secured a new three-year deal worth $2.6 million per season and producing playoff-needing numbers and now a new bundle of joy entering the world, the 24-year-old Edmonton-born player certainly has had a great year with the Oilers and his life.

Skinner was drafted by the Oilers in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, third round 78th pick overall. He has played 26 games this season with twelve wins, 10 losses, and two overtime losses. He currently has a 2.96 GAA, and .914 SV%

The Oilers will be playing their next game at home against the Seattle Kraken, on Tuesday, January 17th game time will be at 9:00 PM
