Matthew Tkachuk may not be loved or liked by Oilers fans, but in reality he has had a great season with his new club, the Florida Panthers. He is the teams leader in points and has been proven to contribute each and every night.

The Florida Panthers and the Arizona Coyotes faced off in a heated matchup last night, where Florida Panthers captain Aleksander Barkov would put himself into a vulnerable position, causing a controversial hit to be thrown. The controversial hit sparked Tkachuk to jump Coyotes defensemen Shayne Gostisbehere.

Tkachuk immediately dropped the gloves with Gostisbehere, and caused tons of havoc.

The Panthers ended up taking a 5-3 win, but was almost lost due to multiple Panthers, including Tkachuk who took a penalty on that play.
