Evander Kane Now on Trial For The Next Seven Days Following Bankruptcy Trial

EVANDER KANE NOW ON TRIAL FOR THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS FOLLOWING BANKRUPTCY TRIAL

BY SKY
The Edmonton Oilers will be without Evander Kane tonight as they take on the Columbus Blue Jackets, Kane's bankruptcy trial has officially began and will be lasting for the next seven days.

This trial will run throughout a two-week period, and could even take more time. Thankfully the NHL's All-Star break is quickly approaching and Kane will not be missing out on too much action.

Kane's debt totalled $26 million including $10.2 million in ''valuable assets'' and $1.5 million in gambling debts owed to others.
